Founded on faith, family experience and academic excellence in the Catholic tradition.
Jesus Home Education College is owned and controlled by a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in England and Wales: Virtue Academy (Charity Number 1204268). It is a not-for-profit organisation whose principal activity is that of education in the Catholic tradition.
The College was founded in September 2025 by married couple Peter and Lisa Hamilton, who continue to serve as unpaid volunteers. Between them, Peter and Lisa have more than 14 years’ experience of teaching in UK schools.
Peter and Lisa have home-educated their five children for more than 15 years. The College is the fruit of many years of experience in teaching both their own children and those of other families in a variety of subjects within the context of home education.

“Having raised fine, well-educated, upstanding Catholic children through full-time home education—now pursuing adult studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and the University of Exeter—we understand the journey. We feel a responsibility to help other families who wish to homeschool in the Catholic faith while providing a sound, comprehensive, and academically rigorous education focused on virtue and excellence.
We recognise that God has given us particular gifts and experience for this purpose and we feel a responsibility to share what we have learned with others, especially families who may find it difficult to manage on their own.
To support this mission, we developed a UK-based Catholic home-education programme available through the College. Our curriculum blends independent, parent-guided learning with expert tuition and practical support, all delivered in a classic European tradition.
We truly believe that choosing Jesus Home Education College will be one of your family's greatest milestones. Together, we will give your children the academic excellence and spiritual formation they need to step confidently into adulthood, secure in God’s love.”
