History Through the Ages

The Classical Tradition

History as a Purposeful Story

Our Approach

We hold the Christian view that human history is a purposeful story directed by God, rather than a random series of events. We therefore embrace the Classical Tradition and teach history chronologically and analytically, beginning with the dawn of civilisation and continuing through to the present day.

A Framework to Build On

A coherent and continuous chronological narrative of history gives students a significant advantage when studying every academic subject and understanding its development. It provides them with a breadth of knowledge and a framework of understanding upon which they can readily build during their university years and beyond.
